How to Clean Adhesive Bras

Adhesive bras, also known as sticky bras, require special care to maintain their stickiness. Follow these steps to wash and rejuvenate your adhesive bra, and extend the life.

1. Wet the Bra in Warm Water:

   • Start by wetting the sticky side of your silicone bra with warm water. You don’t need to fully immerse the entire bra yet. Warm water effectively breaks down grime without harming the bra material.

2. Apply Gentle Soap or Detergent:

   • While regular hand soap works well, consider using a special cleanser designed for delicate fabrics.
   • Avoid using your fingernails or any sharp objects to rub the bra, as they can damage the adhesive surface.

3. Rub the Adhesive Cups:

   • Use your finger to gently rub the wet adhesive part of the bra. Circular motions help remove any grime.
   • Be cautious not to apply excessive pressure or use abrasive materials, as this could ruin the adhesive.

4. Dip the Entire Bra in Soapy Water:

   • After cleaning the adhesive part, you can now dip the entire bra in warm soapy water.
   • Lightly clean any dirt from other parts of the bra using your fingers.

5. Rinse Thoroughly:

   • Rinse the bra with clean water (warm or cold) to remove any soap residue and grime.
   • Hold the bra under running water for an effective rinse.

6. Air Dry Properly:

   • Drying is crucial for maintaining stickiness.
   • Line the adhesive bra in a dry, dust-free area. Ensure that the sticky sides face upwards and are spaced apart to prevent them from sticking together.
